Sorry I haven't been replying to comments recently but this is the reason why.

Typically, the first thing I did when I bought Okami was draw the picture on the cover. So yes, I did use a reference for this. --> [link] :3

I'm happy with how it came out, actually, especially since it only took around 20 minutes (roughly 10mins sketching, 10mins inking). Tried to make it look as though it was painted. Kind of failed. But I still like it~
